As you could probably tell, I am pretty much just watching bad movies and 2025 movies as of late and that's intentional! I am trying to round out my lists before the end of the year! :)

This movie was advertised to me as an example of a really good zero budget indie movie and it is simply amazing for what it is!

Before anything else, Indy is certainly one of the goodest boys and he's a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. (Which has to be the longest name ever for a dog breed!) The dog acting in this film is phenomenal and I can only assume a lot of patience was needed because some of the shots in this are expertly time. Seriously, this is probably up there with the dog from The Thing!

The POV of the dog is very interesting, and we rarely see any of the humans faces in this film and when we do, it's quite impactful. The cineamotogphy with this is mostly low angles for the doggo of course, but also chaotic and sporadic.

My only complaint really is that I wish more could have been done. It would have been really neat to see a Go Pro shot on Indy. This film proves that you don't need a budget to make a great film!
