I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK

Bizarre, Odd and Strange are not powerful enough words to describe just how weird this film is. I was a little put off by how some of the mental health was portrayed in this at first but appreciated that they linked a lot of things to trauma and didn't outright make actual claims about mental illness. It's also refreshing to see people who are mentally unwell are shown as actual people and are not demonized for being different. A lot of this film has unreliable narration so it's hard to pin how much of the "real world" stuff can be trusted. This is shot beautifully as can be expected from a Park-Chan Wook film and this got better the longer it went on. There are three crazy scenes in this that are worth the watch. I never knew I could feel so many powerful emotions from seeing someone eat rice. A weird spectacle that will be unlike any other movie you could watch.
