Incantation

I like to watch one last horror film on the first of November before moving on. This is the films I chose.

This is a weird one for me. I don't really like found footage and this has all the same trappings, but I can appreciate what this one is trying to do. The way that this film utilizes cognito hazards is really cool and is extremely well done in general. The best thing about this movie is certainly the atmosphere and how it gets you to beleive in the curse. Watch this for the ending alone!

The issue is though, that this is a very messy movie in terms of tracking things and making sense of things if you are not culturally aware of some Buddhist principles. I only really knew the basics and I got so lost and just had to accept what I was being told. This hand holding got irritating because I didn't know what to think. I kind of had no choice but to beleive.

It's still fun though, the acting was pretty great.

I will have to give this another chance for sure!
