Insidious: Chapter 2
Whoever thought continuing this story was a good idea after the awful cliffhanger of the first movie is really stupid. In general, I would say that most possession plots are very asinine, and I'm not sure what the point of this movie is. Honestly, it just seems a set up for the third movie and all of this is just so poorly done. I can't take anything seriously at all unlike the first half of the first movie. It's a lot more silly and ridiculous than the first movie, and the worse acting does not help at all. Even legendary Rose Byrne gave a bad performance, and in my last review I said she never gives a bad performance.
This was truly awful and I just don't feel like writing a 10,000 word review on this. The only reason this is not a 1/10 is because I liked some of the visuals and the new character Carl was pretty fun. It's damn close though, and I hate this movie. I have no idea why anyone thought this was a good idea. Let's see what I think of the third movie and then maybe it's time to forget about this franchise past the first movie

Mini Review: Whoever thought continuing this story after the awful cliffhanger of the first movie was a good idea is really stupid.
