Life Itself

This might be shocking to some people on here but I had no idea who Roger Ebert really was until after 2020. Sure, I heard his name and stuff from a few people online but it was more like an "Okay, that's a film critic, I guess."

Anyway, I am not really too attached to anything in this movie but I did learn a quite lot more about him which is good for a documentary. This is also pretty efficient and I didn't feel I could just read a wiki article about him.

This might not be the nicest thing to say for a review on a movie about his life, but I still will never forgive him for an article that I found of his called "Video Games can never be art". This might seem like a random comment by me, but this documentary was trying to pass Ebert off as a pioneer of technology at the end of his life. There are so many wonderful stories in video games and some games are even about art themselves. Read the article for yourself, but it's insane...
