May

Might have been over-hyped by YMS, The movie has a lot of weird choices (And that goes beyond Adam and May as characters.)
The direction and pacing seem predicable and sloppy. Eh, the more and more I think about it, the more I don't like this movie. I think a rewrite of the 2nd act could have made this a lot better. 4/10

Happy May everyone! I planned on watching this yesterday but I got distracted by Caveat and Possession.
This is a very strange movie by the way.
I ended up liking this a little more on my second watch and I didn't start hating it until 2/3s of the way through. I like the weirdness of the main character but it just progressively gets stranger and stranger to the point that I feel reality breaks. Jumping the shark, if you will... When I first watched it, I didn't like it about halfway through because I was sick of all the characters but in this one, I found it to be an entertaining microcosm of oddities. I absolutely adore Anna Faris in this. After watching the Scary movies and revisiting this, I finally realized how comedically brilliant she is. The most entertainment I had in this were her, and the dark comedy in this. I probably won't watch this again unless it's to show someone it and I can't really recommend this unless you like weird movies that make odd movies look strange by comparison.
