Oddity
10/1/2024:
Wonderfully shot and acted. Unfortunately, I was not able to watch this on a good site and this was ruined by laggy visuals and bad timing. I will say though, that this was extremely predictable. It was also actually scary but also had jump-scares. I honestly don't know what to fairly rate this but I think it might be a bit over-rated.

I finally got around to watching this again and I like it a little bit more. This has a lot of great intense spooky scenes and one of the earliest scenes is one of the best "paranoid type" of horror I have seen. I love the characters and the acting is wonderful.
Issues rise because of just how many jump-scares there are in this. I am fine with some, but when a film relies on so much, it becomes cheap. This is also way more convoluted then it should be. There's gold in these hills but requires lots of digging!
