I thought it was just the hallways scene that made this film great but I was surprised to learn that was a very VERY small part of this film. I can't say I got everything this time around but from what I saw and from what the ending was, this is still a masterpiece! I love a great tragedy, and I love a great revenge story. I will also say that I still love "I Saw The Devil" a lot more but this is up there in my favorite Korean films! I think this is a film everyone should watch before they die!

Second watch and this really holds up! Just a fantastic revenge story that also has a really interesting cat and mouse game. I picked up a lot more details on this second watched and was surprised just how tight and densely packed this script is. Very fantastic acting, action cinematography!!! I liked Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance more but this is an easy 10/10 film!
