Sing Sing
Now, THIS is how you make a movie based on real life events! I am so glad I didn't know that going in and then went it hit me, it was so powerful, it gave me literal chills!
Here's the thing, I was a bit in a sour mood after watching Stardust and this movie swept me off my feet very quickly and got me into it so unexpectedly.
How else could I describe this movie other then real, raw, and emotional. The acting and just how this movie progresses is a sight to behold! What's insane is that I rather quickly would call this a masterpiece.
The only thing holding this back is the second act low point and how it puts the break on this film. I know that real events like that probably happened, but the way it was handled in this film honestly broke me out of my vibe with it.
That being said though, I still love this and would recommend it to everyone!

Mini Review: Now, THIS is how you make a movie based on real-life events! I’m glad I went in blind—when it hit me, it was so powerful, giving me literal chills. After a sour mood from Stardust, this swept me off my feet unexpectedly. Real, raw, and emotional, with incredible acting and progression. The second act dips, but despite that, I’d call it a masterpiece and recommend it to everyone!
