Sorcerer

Do you all know about what Alfred Hitchcock says about the bomb under the table. Yep, that's this whole movie! Wonderfully acted and shot, this film was a unknown treat to me. I think it ran a little long but that's mostly forgivable. Also, I love the last 15 minutes of this film!

I watched this for the second time with a friend. He loved it just as much as I did the first time around, and I am glad that I have convinced him to start looking into The Criterion Collection. (Honestly, all of those films are amazing!)
Sorcerer is one of the easiest 10/10 movies I have watched. It is wonderfully shot and has some of the most beautiful scenes put to film! The first time I watched this, my knuckles were pure white from the suspense and even this second time around, I will still antsy and worried the whole runtime. This is not a happy film for anyone on the screen, but as an audience member, it's thrilling in a way that you just need to see in order to understand!
I loved the characters even more the second time around, and the synth score in this was sublime! What an incredible movie and I am proud that I own a copy of this. This is a full recommendation to check this film out when you can!
