Sound of Metal
This one is a weird one for me to talk about because I really don't like how this started or the technical aspects of most of this movie. On the other hand, this has some of the most profound things to say about addiction, depression, and the stages of grief. Also, this is ironically one of the loudest movies ever and it's funny for that fact. I wish one scene was entirely quiet to drive a point but I understand that the entire movie needed to have some noise for a different point. This honestly is a highly personal movie and I don't quite know how to express it on a first watch.
