Thanatomorphose
This has to be the grossest movie I have ever seen. The body horror is phenomenal. I felt every rancid makeup choice through the screen, and I have to admire the sheer artistry behind such a disgusting experience. The main actress is fantastic, even if the side characters suck ass. There are some long stretches of nothing happening before shit hits the floor, but the atmosphere makes them easier to stomach.
There's barely a plot, and as odd as it is to say, I would have loved to see more focus on the woman slowly decaying. Also, it's a bit ridiculous that 911 was never called. Still, there's something genuinely fascinating about watching a film commit so wholeheartedly to its twisted vision. It's disgusting, artistic, and deeply uncomfortable in all the right ways. Definitely one for the gorehounds and anyone who enjoys dark, twisted shit.

Mini Review: This has to be the grossest movie I've ever seen. The body horror is phenomenal; I felt every rancid makeup choice through the screen. The main actress is the only one with any acting ability, and the side characters suck ass. Long stretches drag before shit hits the floor. I want to like its artistry, but the weak plot gets in the way. It'd be better focused on the woman slowly decaying. Nobody ever calls 911? It falls in the middle, recommended only to gorehounds or fans of dark, twisted shit.
