The Bay

Oh wow! This little found footage film is so much better then I was expecting! For one, all of the footage is reasonably shot and taken. (Although, there's a lot of funny effects in the footage.) Secondly, this actually has really scary things happening in camera and that's quite rare. I hate when the camera pans away just so make up can be applied. That happens in this too, but that's not all this was. The whole madness of the town going to hell was really interesting to watch as well!
I should mention that this can get a bit ridiculous and there were some eyerolling moments that were unbelievable after experiencing Covid and other crazy things as of late. The hysteria in this is believable but it could have gone much farther. Overall, this was an unexpectedly good film with a lot good stuff, as well as a lot of flaws.
