The Jacket

Honestly a very interesting movie and it went a lot deeper then the premise promised. All of the acting is great and this film has a really good example of time travel. In some ways, I wonder if he really died at the beginning and the car side scene was the only other thing that happened for real.

On a rewatch, I can safely say that this is still a convoluted slow burn, but it's also one of the most unique movies I've ever watched. It's extremely hard to talk about this without spoiling anything, so if the premise interests you at all, I highly recommend it.
The actors all do a great job, but Adrien Brody and Keira Knightley work so well together in this. I would argue that Keira Knightley is the best actor in the movie, and a version of this story told from her character's perspective would be fascinating. Daniel Craig is also in this, around the time of his big break with Layer Cake. (Also recommend.)
I think this movie's biggest strength is that it doesn't explain everything and lets the viewer decide what happened. It's quite hard to wrap my head around, even on a second watch, and I hope to go super in-depth into this one day. Hellraiser: Inferno really made me want to check this out again, and it's still a solid movie.

Mini Review: On rewatch, this is still a convoluted slow burn, but one of the most unique movies I've seen. It's hard to discuss without spoilers, so if the premise interests you, I highly recommend it.Brody and Knightley work brilliantly together, though I'd argue she's the best actor here. A version from her character's perspective would be fascinating. Craig also appears around his big break with Layer Cake. Its biggest strength is leaving things unexplained. Still solid!
