3 Ninjas Kick Back
A marginal improvement on Part 1, this is adequate enough for what it is, but I couldn’t help but think wistfully of THE MIGHTY DUCKS movies which aimed for a similar tone and demographic, but did it much better. A more overt paraphrase of THE KARATE KID this time; much like the first film, this feels like a soulless product designed to cash in on contemporary crazes rather than doing its own thing, which makes its best moments feel too derivative and calculated to be inherently interesting or exciting. M’eh.
