Although it’s been said many times, many ways: Snowman rape. Cheap and schlocky horror effort feels like a call-back to the poor-taste subset of 80s slashers, though this is so campy (and so silly), it’s difficult to tell how much self-awareness is at play. Whatever it is, it is certainly entertaining, but it feels like their may have been an artificial harness applied at some point in relation to the amount of gore; if it had committed to being a little more gory, the energy could have taken it over the top. As it is, it’s a decent bit of fun, if not really essential.
