Kevin & Perry Go Large

Having turned up my nose at so many crass and vulgar teen oriented sex comedies in the past, I really have no defence for kind of liking this, but Enfield and Burke’s great line in slack-jawed horniness, not to mention an at times electrically funny chemistry with Fleet and Rix, propels this film through its sitcom shenanigans. Feels a little too much like a TV sketch show at times (and it would have suffered a dwarfing experience on the big screen), but some good belly/gross-out laughs compensate. Enfield can pick up the “Rik Mayall intensity” comedy award whenever he likes!
