St. Trinian's
Had a lot more fun with this than I was expecting, even if there is a heavy-handed oafishness to the humour that would just never do in its 50s inspiration (or maybe…) In any event, this is worth it for Everett’s camping it up and having a whale of a time, especially when employing Firth as his hapless foil, though the movie’s great pains to drop meta-Firth references into the narrative become a little bit tiresome. Overall though, a much more fun and genuinely bawdy romp than expected or required.
