Bland and timid cash-in on Michael J. Fox’s peak popularity era is a technically proficient, but by-the-numbers, non-entity that follows the blue-print of the original, but sands off all the odd, seedy edges that made the original memorable, and resulting in a lukewarm regurgitation. The study montage is a prime piece of 80s cheese, and is the unquestionable highlight.
