Valiant

Droll and amusing tip of the hat to wartime comedies and dramas, ranging from the benign 50s efforts through to elements of A BRIDGE TOO FAR – enjoyment will increase relative to your fondness for the real mccoys, as well your fondness for a finely chosen cast of comics who all seem to be having a ball in their roles (I have to think the acronym RHPS is a shout-out to chief villain Curry?) Nothing ground-breaking here, but if you’re in the mood for a gently rollicking animated effort that thankfully backs off on abrasive pop culture references, this is good, slightly twee (tweet) fun.
