Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon
I liked moments of this. I'd say it starts pretty slow and the laugh factor and intrigue escalates as the film goes on. Quite nice to see a more subversive look at the genre but it did feel like the film was fully aware that it was kind of a clever idea. This kind of resulted in some self congratulatory moments where it felt like the filmakers where a little too proud of a silly film. Also did the classic parody trope of making fun of something whilst also becoming the very thing it's poking fun at.
