Butterfly Kisses

Really really enjoyed this. One of the most self critical films I’ve ever seen. Every character could be gaslighting the others and it’s so hard to tell, within the world of the film, who’s telling the truth. That’s done brilliantly. Has its moments of cheese and slightly strange acting choices but it takes it on the chin. Also such a cool idea to get real people playing themselves in this. Because of that, I was actually perplexed how much of this was real at the start. I’m genuinely really saddening to find out the director has passed as I genuinely think this is up there with some of the best Found Footage horrors I’ve seen.
