I’m definitely coming more to terms with the fact that this is a show for kids and that’s a hard pill to swallow. Kind of makes you realise that entertainment is staying eerily the same as we slowly march to the grave. But anyway this was a lot of fun. I think this is much better than the first. I also love the villains being clones. How the hell has that not been done in new who yet. I love the slow moving robot. I love that they’re on the edge of existence. I love the long arm sequence. There’s lots of brill stuff in here. I think the cg looks surprisingly rough in moments for such a high budget but I reckon it’s so it’s not too frightening for the little ones. Also Wilf. I love Wilf so much. Kind of the heart of the era imo. Cannot wait for the final special.
