Hail, Caesar!

Not as good as other Coen brothers films but still quite nice to watch. The whole film should be seen as a love letter to the older film industry and not much else. There were a few scenes that seemed like they just wanted more celebrities in the film for the sake of the box office but I did actually like many sections of this film! The whole religion/capitalist v communist ideas were kind of unnecessary and seemed like the film was trying to hard to have an underlayer of social commentary in the film. It's not a film that has to be watched but it wasn't an awful film at all.
