Logan

I'm going to be completely honest and not let my inner marvel nerd show in this review. Ok this film had amazing combat and beautiful scenery. However, I have to say that this films first 30 minutes is why I like this film to the extent I do. Not becuase of the violence, because of the style. It started almost like an arthouse film then slowly faded into a cliche superhero film. The fighting was great but I feel near the end the audience was bored of seeing Logan smash apart people's faces. The ending gave me big ol' chills but overall the film lacked a more developed story if I'm honest. It can hide itself in emotional integrity but it is just another superhero film with more gore; a superhero has to run from a bad guy ending with a huge fight with basic character development inbetween.
