The Sparks Brothers

I think Wright's snappy and humourous direction works very well when placed in the documentary genre, especially when linked to such a thematically similar band. With that said, this film fell flat with me a little for three different reasons; some cinematic choices I found to be very cheesy, It felt a little too preachy at some moments which is always a tad irritating when trying to convey an accurate portrayal of a band and I can't help but find the tie-in to their upcoming film really annoying. With all this said, it was a very stylish retelling of their careers, and I enjoyed it a lot.
