Incredible framing throughout the movie, especially and artistic style in which the Gondo family/associates and policemen continued to be framed over and over again as the hours marched along and the tension mounted.
Thoughtful use of reflections throughout the movie, both stylistically and thematically. Kurosawa really made a simple intern look so sinister and so evil just with those perfectly lit and framed sunglasses – predator and prey within one frame.
