Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives

Beautiful photography throughout the movie; every frame was meticulously composed. I could extract an entire photo book depicting life on the northern Thai countryside from stills alone. Dreamlike and nonlinear storytelling, I wasn’t sure if I was truly awake for some scenes; I could’ve been dreaming myself. After leaving the theater, I felt like I was swimming in confusion and this analysis helped me put some pieces together. Will have to rewatch after some thoughts have settled.
