Cobbled together from at least 3 previous Star Trek films and their own version of a planet killer machine (where have I seen this plot device before...Star Wars much?) makes this wholly unoriginal. It's the 4th TNG film and the 4th Picard & Data focus. From a series that dedicated building its cast (unlike TOS), Nemesis is opportunity wasted. Burton acts tired and looks like he'd rather be enjoying retirement. Sirtis called the director "an idiot" in an interview. It's insulting to the audience too: there's a scene of Picard & Data where they're making battle plans: "Should we fly into this patch of space that'll prevent communication with the fleet and sets a perfect trap for the enemy to kill us?" "Of course, Silly!" What a crying shame for their last film. Farewell TNG - gone too soon.
