This is an entertaining and energetic film that succeeds largely because of the talent behind and in front of the camera. Josh Safdie deserves a great deal of credit for both the writing and directing. The story moves with confidence, balancing its humor, drama, and larger-than-life moments without ever completely losing control of itself.

Timothée Chalamet is the film's biggest asset. He fully commits to the role and brings the character to life in a way that feels charismatic, believable, and memorable. It's the kind of performance that keeps the audience invested even when the story occasionally stretches credibility. Chalamet continues to prove that he is one of the most versatile young actors working today.

What I appreciated most was the film's willingness to embrace its own personality. It never feels manufactured or overly safe, and Safdie's direction gives it a distinct energy that separates it from many similar films. While it isn't perfect, Marty Supreme is consistently engaging and benefits from a strong screenplay, confident direction, and an excellent lead performance. Overall, I had a very good time with it.
