28 Years Later

when i decided to watch a zombie film, i definitely wasn’t expecting to fucking bawl my eyes out multiple times throughout. i watched this for jodie comer and to say she fucking delivered would be to say the least. this was so fucking phenomenal oh my god i have dried tear streaks on my face as im typing this, i don’t think ill ever recover. everything i asked for NOT to happen fucking happened OH MY GOD I HATE THIS MOVIE. i will say, at the start of the movie (before disaster FUCKING STRUCK…) , something that stood out to me almost immediately was how interesting the cinematography was and how pretty the color grading was, it almost felt like a video game (?) i was not as locked in as i would’ve liked while i was watching this, just because i don’t particularly gravitate towards zombie films in general, so i didn’t really think i was going to enjoy it all that much, i was more so purely watching for jodie comer >< … BUT i will definitely be rewatching this as soon as i can because i just love hurting myself like that! the last time a film made me cry this much was probably wicked: for good so kudos LOL. and to think i almost watched this one in theatres too. thank god i didn’t jesus fucken christ also, i watched this right after finishing the last ep of killing eve season 3, so i guess this is a glimpse into the future of how i would be once i finish the show (fuck the writers) !!!
