Batman: Knightfall - Part 1: Knightfall

Knightfall is the definitive 90s Batman arc that shaped my comic book DNA, rooted in Kelley Jones's flawlessly creepy, shadowed gothic art style. Condensing this massive collapse into a brutal animation format works beautifully; instead of safe corporate polish, it delivers raw, un-compromised violence while staying deeply loyal to the original visual aesthetic and brutal pacing. The real triumph is Bane. After decades of Hollywood and video games turning him to a brainless, steroid-fueled brute, this film rightfully restores his tactical mastermind. Bane isn't some overrated ,marketing-driven cliche like Joker or Harley Quinn—he is the only mastermind who systematically broke the Bat mentally and physically.
