Jeepers Creepers

i'm sure at least some level of love and creativity went into jeepers creepers, but frankly, i don't see any of it.
the most boring, laughable and downright batshit move i've seen since hellboy (2019). the thing i think is the weirdest about this film is that it has basically no story structure? as in, there's no obvious first, second and third act, which wouldn't be a problem because i've seen movies like that which i love, (case in point, tree of life, my all-time favourite), but in this case a shitty 2000's b-horror movie needs something to make it pop otherwise it ends up like this.
and don't get me started on the writing. like, did an edgy 12-year-old write this, or were the whole crew on crack?? horror movies are infamous for characters making stupid and unrealistic decisions but my GOD i couldn't stand this stupid brother-sister dynamic.
also, there's almost no scare factor, and in a so-called 'horror' movie that is the single worst thing to have, (or rather, not have). at least the creeper looked kind of cool, but as soon as he started growing wings i was laughing at how stupid he looked.
overall, i have many gripes with this terrible, downright awful excuse for a movie and will NOT be rewatching any time soon, hopefully NEVER.
