Gosford Park

I didn't know this movie existed until a few months back watching Northernlion use it as a Cine2Nerdle battle get-out-of-jail-free pass because of its cast. it's not a fast-paced murder mystery by any means, with much of the movie dedicated to establishing all the characters (and there are a lot!!! and they're all white British people or Ryan philippe.) the murder and mystery itself feels secondary to the characters' individual plotlines meshing together, brought to life by the insane ensemble cast. i still will not watch downton abbey
