Lady Oscar

falls into the Dracula's Daughter category of having a very interesting queer character way ahead of its time but the movie around them being lackluster. love the costuming and the colors (blue and pink very cool) but the writing itself is a kind of blase take on the french revolution. i might seek out the rose of versailles anime to see if it handles it a bit better. also gonna add some more jacques demy movies to my watchlist to see if i enjoy them a bit more nevertheless: it is really cool to watch lady oscar do literally anything
