Phantasm IV: Oblivion

It's at least an entertaining movie, much closer to the original than the previous movie. The plot moves slow for a movie that's about an hour and a half, mainly due to a lack of things that occur. This is at least sort of forgiven due to the limited budget of this movie. The Tall Man's backstory is elaborated on in this movie, but is it really necessary? There's some unused footage from the original movie that gets used here, recontextualized, and I do think it works well, especially the ending. One thing for certain with this franchise is the endings are always memorable. Gonna watch Ravager, as I can't get enough of the Tall Man.
