Thunder Road

Loved this. Amazon lists this as following Jim Cummings's character "on his journey to raise his daughter as a love letter to his late mom" and I truly don't think this fits the movie very well; might be hard to describe "guy self-destructs for an hour and a half" in better words. While I did laugh (and Amazon's description says Thunder Road is "hilarious") I can't help but feel cruel laughing at Jim as he struggles with everything in his life. Cummings is excellent and I can't wait to see what he does next. Also, shout out to that Skinny Love cover in the ending.
