Gen V

I just finished the second season - i loved the tension, how focused the plot felt with godolkin as a framing device, and i did not at all mind how "visible" the twist was - it was hidden enough from our main characters so it was tense in the sense that we got to watch them figure it out. Amazing acting performances from Marie and her sister, Ethan slater as a freak (more of this), and also Doug/Cipher - i love hamish linklater in this, he was so charismatic and really sold how invested he was. I also loved that Polarity got to be involved, and his chemistry with Emma was palpable and felt very authentic. I hope this show is a jumping board for many of these actors, especially the young main cast! Jaz sinclair is a stellar leader for their ensemble, and i feel like they balanced storylines very nicely between marie, emma, cate and jordan.

Overall hell yea very entertaining, nothing mindboggling but still so tense, immersive and nicely paced
