Chapter Two: Trick or Treat, Freak

Here's my take on how Chief Hopper probably found El. It seems El ate the offerings Hopper left out, eventually realizing someone was leaving food there daily. Hopper noticed the pattern and caught her in the act. Personally, he's really come to treat El like his own daughter—smart and responsible guy that he is.

Also, Mike and El are just too adorable—really hoping they reunite soon. I just wish Mike knew El never actually left this world.

As for Jonathan Byers and Nancy Wheeler’s romantic subplot… I kinda hope it doesn’t turn into a messy love triangle. I’d much rather see Jonathan team up with Steve Harrington to fight monsters instead of diving into typical soapy drama—though honestly, at this point, Nancy and Jonathan do feel like a better match.

Okay, but that ending though—I’m low-key terrified. What exactly did Dustin see? And that farm Hopper found, all decayed… is that because the Upside Down is seeping into our world? The gate the Demogorgon opened in Season 1 never really closed, right? Could the corruption be spreading through it?
