Chapter Six: The Spy
This review contains spoilers
Jonathan Byers and Nancy Wheeler really do make a solid pair after everything they’ve been through. But man, poor Steve Harrington—he’s still hung up on Nancy, even though they’ve pretty much called it quits. Their breakup came down to misunderstandings from both sides, which honestly shows their connection wasn’t strong enough if it could fall apart so easily over mixed signals.
And then there’s Dustin Henderson—all talk, zero action when it comes to Max. He claims to care, but doesn’t actually do anything about it. Trying to be like Steve Harrington? Not even close. Steve used to run the school and actually got things done. Meanwhile, Lucas Sinclair has been putting in real effort—being honest with Max, talking things out with her when she’s in a tough spot… no wonder things are naturally clicking between them.
As for Will… I was wondering why he walked right into that trap. At first I thought he was being controlled, but while writing this, it hit me: the Upside Down is scarily intelligent. Just like someone mentioned earlier—they can plant spies, but they can also be watched. Turns out they were right. Now we’ve lost so many people… terrifying.
