Chapter Five: The Flayed

This episode was practically a Jim Hopper solo special — hilarious with his little trio and that reporter tagging along again. Meanwhile, El and Mike seem to have mostly made up, and Lucas gave some solid backup as the ultimate wingman. Only Will was left on his own… guess he’s just vibing solo.
And hey — Steve actually won a fight for once! Even if it feels like the writers just handed it to him, haha.
Looks like the Mind Flayer leveled up this season — it can straight-up turn people into monsters now, like some kind of nightmarish species conversion.
That said, this episode had two pretty silly moments: running into a room and calling the front desk downstairs, only to block your own escape route, and then just standing there watching monsters merge instead of running. Kinda took away from the tension, not gonna lie.
这集Jim Hopper简直是个人回太搞笑了三人小组然后又是那个记者，然后el和mike也大概率和好了，他的小伙伴Lucas助攻也很棒，只有will一个人孤零零的我们独自快乐吧，Steve终于打赢一架了虽然可能是编剧给他嬴的哈哈。看来这季Mind Flayer升级了能直接将人转换成怪物另一种物种了，这集的2个缺点就是跑到房间给一楼的护士打电话把自己路堵死了，看到了怪物等合体不跑，太神了和两个操作，紧张感缺了点
