Chapter Two: Vecna's Curse

El’s storyline this episode was so frustrating. Does Mike really have to blame Will for everything? Will may not be great at comforting people, but at least he’s been by El’s side, keeping an eye on her. Mike isn’t totally innocent here either—you guys used to be best friends, and "friends don’t lie." He should have told Mike the truth earlier when they were writing letters, but honestly, El probably made Will promise not to say anything, or she’d have been upset with him too.
That bullying scene with El was really hard to watch—just infuriating. When is she going to get her powers back and shut them all down?
Thankfully, the other plotline was solid this episode. Dustin and Robin brought the brains, and Max provided key clues—otherwise, everyone would’ve thought it was just a normal incident. Steve, as always, on babysitting duty.
The monster this season feels way overpowered, though—it doesn’t even need a body to pull people into customized nightmares? If it’s that strong, why not just trap everyone in a dream and take them out instantly? My guess is it doesn’t work on everyone—if someone’s willpower is strong enough to realize the dream isn’t real, the monster probably can’t complete its curse ritual on them.
Poor Hopper… stuck doing hard labor after being captured, and no clue when he’ll be rescued. Joyce and Murray are trying, but how are they supposed to save him from the other side of the world
这集el那边的剧情太气人了，mike这也要完全怪will吗，人家will虽然不会安慰人但是天天跟在你女朋友身边好歹还帮忙看着，就是mike也是有点错你也知道以前是best friend，friend Don't lie应该之前通信的时候就跟mike就说的，el估计也不会允许will说出去的不然估计也要跟will闹了，这真的太吓人了一帮人都在霸凌el气死人了，el什么时候才能恢复能力整顿一下。好歹这集还有另一条主线真不错，Dustin和Robin智力担当，MAX提供了很重要的线索，要不然都以为是普通事件了，Steve依旧是保姆。这一季是怪物有点强过头了吧不需要尸体就可以指定人进行定制的噩梦梦境？说实话这怪物这么强直接拉进梦境秒了就行了，我猜是大概率不是对没个人都有效的，如果个人意识能力足够强的话可以识破梦境是假的这个怪物就没办法对这个人进行诅咒仪式。可怜的Jim Hopper被抓走当苦力了也不知道什么时候能被救出来，就靠Joyce和Murray怎么救远在天边的地方。
