Chapter Three: The Monster and the Superhero

Jonathan Byers feels way too withdrawn this season—like he’s been hanging around the wrong crowd. Even when talking to his mom, he seemed kinda out of it.
El actually made a good point: not a single “love” in any of those letters? No wonder she’s having doubts. Mike still doesn’t really get her—he’s stuck on the surface, missing the deeper trauma and pain she carries.
What’s up with Robin? Nancy’s already broken up with Steve and is with Jonathan now. Why would she assume Nancy would hold a grudge against Steve? That’s not Nancy at all—she’s super career-focused. If you don’t bring it up, she probably wouldn’t even think about it, lol.
I really thought El was going to get captured by the lab again at the end, but turns out it was Dr. Sam. Actually relieved—looks like he might even help her regain and upgrade her powers.
Hopper trying to escape prison feels near impossible. That scene where he removes the shackle—ouch, I felt that just watching.
Lucas was kind of a jerk this episode, not gonna lie.
The monster this season is pretty well crafted. Even though we see what it looks like, how do I put it… it brings a psychological kind of fear—really intense and oppressive.
And Max—danger, danger, danger!
这一季的Jonathan Byers感觉有点太颓废了这个形象，感觉是交友不甚导致的，甚至在跟妈妈交谈的时候都有点神志不清的感觉，el还真说的挺有道理的，书面来信居然一个love都没写过确实难免会有点怀疑，mike感觉还是不太了解el的想法，还是停留在表层不知道el的一些创伤和埋藏在el心里的疼， 不懂Robin在想什么，人Nancy已经和Steve分手了现在是和Jonathan一起过了，怎么还会因为Steve介意导致对Robin印象不好Nancy不是这样的人，再说了人事业心超重的你不提都根本没在想事哈哈，在结尾我还以为el要被研究机构的组织抓走了，原来是Dr. Sam放心了反而还要帮el恢复升级超能力，Jim Hopper要逃出监狱可太难了，这取脚镣那个镜头可看疼我了，Lucas这一集有点混蛋了。这一季的怪物塑造的可以，虽然知道他长的什么样，该怎么形容有一种心灵的恐惧强势的压迫感，还有MAX危险危险危险!
