The police could have saved this girl but they couldn't even see the signs she was the victim. Screw those officers. They deserve to lose their jobs and be hated on by the public wherever they go.

I think they nibbled around an interesting edge of how much blame can be levied against people other than Brian, but ultimately never gave that question enough focus to make this anything more than just telling this story. For example they shared outrage at how the police handled the Moab incident (which is fair to critique), but the police also gave Gabby a means of escape (the van)while basically locking Brian in a room without actually arresting him. I dunno, just could've been more.
