It was good at times BECAUSE of Bourdain, and every bit as often, in spite of Bourdain. This show had a very long tun, so, inevitably, some--most, probably--episodes were fairly ordinary, On the other hand, some were quite extraordinary, dealing with subjects that were hard-hitting at the time--the Iran and Mexico episodes, especially.

Only watched a few epsiodes from season 4. Very, very light travelogue feel.
