Argonavis from Bang Dream! Animation - Season 1

Unable to forget the thrill of watching a live band performance he saw when he was young, Ren Nanahoshi spent his days searching for his own identity.

Yuto finds somebody playing the piano at night at the university. Attracted by the overwhelming performance, Yuto wants him to join the band as the keyboardist.

Ren and the others are looking for a drummer as their last band member. A young man named Banri Shiroishi presents himself, but they refuse him because he says he only wants to join the band to make money.

Ren and the others are finally set out to sail as "Argonavis". A new song is nearing its completion, the future is looking bright. Yuto suggests having their debut at a live house. The members, riding the wave, look forward to the day of the event and devote themselves to practicing.

Argonavis is asked to be the opening act for the band GYROAXIA. However, Yuto and the rest have differing opinions about it. Yuto firmly rejects the opening act appearance because of a past he doesn't want to talk about.

Yuto messages the rest of Argonavis that he quits the band.

Argonavis secured a joint concert with GYROAXIA. The one who objected was GYROAXIA's vocalist, Asahi Nayuta. Reigning as an arrogant genius, he seems to have something against Ren. However, GYROAXIA's manager, Mashu, who is forcing the joint concert, even declares that if Nayuta won't sing, it will become an Argonavis solo live.

GYROAXIA's leader, Kenta, speaks of Nayuta's inner conflict. Everything about GYROAXIA—even its members—is nothing more than replaceable parts. Asahi Nayuta. It was Ren's song that first made him aware of something, that first shook him to his core. When Ren pleads to sing alongside Nayuta, Nayuta retorts, “If you can move my heart even a little, I might consider it.”

Argonavis finished their live performance with GYROAXIA. Then news arrived: they had been selected as one of five bands competing for a spot at the ‘Destiny Rock Festival'. They might stand on the stage they saw as children—Ren and the members were thrilled. But Argonavis, having only recently formed, couldn't compete in name recognition with the other four bands. Cornered, can Argonavis come up with a game-changing strategy?

Argonavis had secured their spot at the festival when news broke that a famous artist would be participating. They were pushed aside, and their entry was revoked. As the members sank into despair, Ren urged them: “Let's still go see the festival. And let's resolve ourselves for the next time.” Just as they finally began moving forward, behind them, GYROAXIA's manager, Mashu, began plotting in the shadows—

Argonavis set off for the DisFes venue. They savored Rikuo's homemade sandwiches as the radio blared introductions to the bands performing at DisFes, filling the lively car with chatter. GYROAXIA, Fantôme Iris, Fūjin RIZING!, εpsilonφ— As these uniquely talented bands gathered at the festival grounds, dark clouds were gathering overhead.

Argonavis arrives at the Destiny Rock Festival with an intention to experience it from an audience member's point of view. They encounter Mashu, who requests them to perform so they can fill a gap left by another band failing to arrive.

After Argonavis' performance, Banri suddenly doesn't feel good and has to be taken to a hospital.
