Beef - Season 2

This could have been an interesting glimpse into the cycle of failed relationships. Josh and Austin were people pleasers to a fault. Ashley and Lindsay were not too similar, though Ashley's depiction of abandonment issues felt the most real and sympathetic influence of any characters behavior. I think the intent of them being mirrors of each other wasn't tight enough to make a compelling conclusion, which is why the last two episodes were rushed garbage. Also, WHERE'S THE BEEF?

Fumbled in the last two episodes.

It's still a good series, but there's a clear attempt here to be a (weak) version of Fargo. It starts well, but the script loses focus and intelligence as many possibilities and characters emerge.
