This lacks persuasiveness and appears geared towards a superficial adolescent audience from the 20 min I dedicated to it.

(Season 1) Wedler is pretty good and I like the autistic girl and some of the jokes, but the writing is a bit of a teenage fever dream with cartoon villains and a backstory that is a little too outrageous to be plausible. things later become compressed in time and more unrealistic. lots of little details are wrong, e.g. the autistic girl doesn't at all mind the noise of the loud party. in general, yet another case of 'writer/director not STEM enough to know how things work.'

Moves at a swift pace and has really likeable characters. Watched: 1-Feb-2021

..if Gaspar Noé helped direct (not write) a realistic sci-fi show about genetic engineering and body hacking. The cinematography, direction and pacing are all stunning. The subject is fascinating and handled wonderfully. It's so rare to see a neat sci-fi show that actually maintains the humanness in its characters. The only other modern show or film I can think of that does this is Black Mirror. The plot gets a bit silly and melodramatic towards the end, but overall it's a fun, worthwhile show.

Nice student setting in Heidelberg, something different for once. Had fun watching it.
