This 13 episode series from Jay Tarses (Days and Nights of Molly Dodd) followed the events surrounding the mysterious murder of a young girl and its investigation by private detective / used record store owner Dave Brodsky (The West Wing's Bradley Whitford) who is on the case. He was hired by Margo Cody (Kate Capshaw) to spy on her husband's affairs and accidentally becomes a reluctant participant in a murder mystery. (tv.com)

Bradley Whitford is already playing Josh Lyman from the West Wing as detective / used record store owner Dave Brodsky. I loved this thing when it aired, but have yet to see all 13 episodes because only ten ever ran, and most of those only overseas, where the show got more respect. This would be ideal for Netflix or home video release if the series was brought to its intended conclusion, as the book We Bombed In Burbank seems to suggest it was.
