Bosch: Legacy

It is still interesting. Bosch, as a private detective, cares extremely less about the law and doing things the non-criminal way. The parts with his daughter are straight up like The Rookie. And Honey Chandler suddenly is all about the righteous cases. Neither of those things are bad, just a little different.

Another promising lead shed the bit. Connelly made a Dell Shannon and Raymond Chandler crossover that really worked well, then made it into a series which did OK but trailed off, and now you get the emo churn of the same stuff in every TV series but Bosch-flavored. Bad 1980s television was bombastic and obvious, this is atmospheric and subtle but repeats every data point three times until you slip into a mental malaise like the rest of the citizenry.

Awesome tv series, hopefully it will have more seasons in the future.
